Do you know what? I think this app rocks! It’s amazingly comprehensive and well designed, yet very easy to use! While it does require Android 2. 0+ to run, it is worth the wait, I promise.I have one suggestion though. Since you can customize so much of it, should I be able to put my name on the map label, or have a tagline? This should solve your problem of being unique in an app filled with others just like it. That way you will stand out!
With Froyo 2.2 Android MapTiler works correctly. No need to update the program itself only install new Android system.
Some users are reporting that they are not able to see their saved maps after upgrade to 2.3 (Gingerbread). If you have a problem try to uninstall 2.2 and then install 2.3 directly from the market.Android Developer: Ikarim Harizi
From the start this program was very fluid and user friendly, but being an avid user of Google Maps, I found it could accurately be said that there were some areas where MapTiler needed work to catch up with Google Maps. Specifically, in my opinion, was the ability to add additional names or descriptions to a location's information in order to give it more character and provide a better sense of context.
